The climbing team and support team made it to the base camp at 5500-6000ft. Everybody chipped in and they are all healthy and tucked in with no injuries. They reached the snow. The support team did really well and was a big help, and carried a lot of the load.
The Climbing team will be Darren Paul, Ken Malik, Steve Swindell, Matt and John Loesing.

The climbing team enjoyed the magnificent panoramic view including Mt Ranier and Mt Glacier when they reached 6000ft. They spent yesterday on the Mt Baker glacier practicing walking on ice with crampons and being safely roped together. They started the ascent at midnight and expected to summit at 6:00am today. The climbers feel safe and confident in their Guides from Mt Baker Guides- Zack and Colin. Everybody is rarin’ to go!
